Who is responsible

Uzakara is operated by Hasan Dogu Taskiran. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to support@uzakara.com with “Privacy” in the subject line.

Information we may collect

• Contact information you provide, such as name, email address and telephone number.
• Account, order, billing and delivery information when those features are used.
• Messages, support requests, wholesale inquiries and marketing preferences.
• Technical information such as IP address, browser/device information, request logs, security events and essential cookie/session data.
• Information needed by payment, shipping, authentication or fraud-prevention providers when those services are used.

Why we use it

• Provide the site, account, cart, checkout, order and support functions you request.
• Process and fulfil accepted transactions.
• Protect the site, prevent abuse and maintain security.
• Maintain records required for business, tax, accounting, consumer-protection or legal obligations.
• Send marketing only when we have the required permission or another lawful basis, and honour unsubscribe choices.

Service providers and transfers

We may use service providers for infrastructure, payments, email, authentication, analytics, customer support and shipping. Personal information can therefore be processed outside Québec or Canada depending on the provider. We seek to limit disclosure to what is reasonably necessary for the service and applicable obligations.

Payment data

When payment is active, payment credentials are processed by the payment provider. We do not intentionally store full card numbers in the storefront application.

Retention and security

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described, legal obligations, dispute handling and security. We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information and service, but no internet system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access or correction, ask questions about our handling of personal information, withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing, and unsubscribe from marketing. We may need to verify identity before responding to certain requests.

Children

The store is directed to adults making purchasing decisions. We do not knowingly ask children to create customer accounts or submit payment information.

Changes

We may update this policy as the store or its service providers change. The effective date is shown above.
